Resident, Summer 2015
Q1. What was your favorite project to work on?
I really enjoyed working on the screenplay week of events. I also really enjoyed working with grantees and 779 video for daily filming and documentation.
Q2. What attracted you to be a part of People’s Liberty?
I really enjoy that it is so community oriented and promotes art of so many different genres. I was excited by the prospect of being able to work directly with community innovators, yet still create art and have fun in a very creative, yet organized environment.
Q3. Describe your PL experience in 3 words.
Experimental, Autonomous, Antsy
Q4. What was your favorite lunch break treat?
Whatever it was, it was from Mimi's Gourmet Egg Rolls and Curry Bowls! That place is life changing.
Q5. Quick question. If you could invite anyone, no boundaries, to be a speaker at PL, who would it be?
What are you up to now?
I started working as an Adjunct Instructor at Northern Kentucky University teaching public speaking and introduction to communication
right after I finished working at PL. I also worked at 779 for a while. After that, I decided to become a freelance film maker. I've currently worked a variety of positions on commercials and feature films--script supervisor, boom operator, production assistant, camera operator, producer, and most recently Unit Production Manager. I've worked with some great people such as Jon Voight, Jamie Kennedy, and Vail Bloom. I get to travel frequently and have a lot of fun in addition to learning more about this industry. If it was not for PL, I would not have received the opportunities that I have been presented with currently; so I am very grateful and look forward to the future.
