We’re excited to introduce our Summer 2018 Resident, Emily Vriesman, already known around the PL office as EVP! Emily will spend the summer supporting many of PL’s design and communications needs. Read below for ten quick facts about Emily:
Emily is a social change designer/artist. She graduated from Xavier University with an art degree in graphic design and art education.
An Indy native, she is a huge basketball fan. March Madness is the best time of year!
Family and friends make her world go round!
She is married to Jordan, who is Cincinnati born and raised. He proposed at a Bengals game on the field!
Emily and Jordan have two kitties, Afro and Annie.
She found People’s Liberty after discovering that she could merge her love for design and heart for social change.
Her artwork is being published in an ABC book about changemakers later this year.
Fall is her favorite season—not too cold, not too hot. Also...football games.
Fresh, warm Krispy Kreme donuts are the best way to start a Saturday morning.
She wishes she could play basketball as well as the XU boys and dance as well as Childish Gambino.
Emily can’t wait for all of the fun adventures to come. Stop by People’s Liberty and say hello! (Bonus points if you’re an XU basketball fan!)
